Pasta and Carrot Puree

  • 1 envelope elbow pasta
  • 2 carrots, cut into cubes
  • water

  • In a pot, bring water to a boil.
  • Add the pasta and let it cook for 25 minutes or until al dente.
  • Add the carrots and let them sit in the water for 15 minutes or until soft.
  • Drain the pasta and carrots, reserving the broth.
  • Place the pasta and carrots in a food processor or blender.
  • Blend and add the broth one tablespoon at a time until the desired consistency is achieved.
