Pizza Casseroles

These pizza casseroles are a fun and different way to enjoy pizza with your little ones, plus they will help them eat smaller portions without leftovers. This snack for kids is perfect for a movie afternoon, so go ahead and prepare them!

  • 500 grams wheat flour, for the dough
  • 10 grams yeast, for the dough
  • 1 pinch salt , for the dough
  • 50 milliliters olive oil , for the dough
  • 350 milliliters water, for the dough
  • 5 grams sugar , or honey, for the dough
  • fine herbs, for the dough
  • 200 grams Gouda cheese, for the filling
  • 200 grams pineapple, for the filling
  • 200 grams turkey deli ham, salami, for the filling
  • oregano , for the sauce
  • 2 cups tomato sauce, for the sauce
  • salt , for the sauce
  • black pepper, for the sauce

  • Weigh all the ingredients for the dough.
  • Make a well with the dry ingredients (wheat flour, sugar or honey, salt, olive oil, and yeast) and knead until you get an elastic but not sticky dough.
  • Cover the dough with a damp cloth in a container and let it ferment for 3 hours.
  • Divide the dough into equal-sized balls and let it ferment again for 2 hours.
  • After the second fermentation, gently stretch the dough by hand to avoid losing air. Place it in the cupcake tray.
  • For the sauce, blend the tomato and strain. In a pot with olive oil, sauté the tomato until it starts to boil, add oregano, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Fill with cheese, tomato sauce, ham, pineapple, and a touch of oregano. You can also fill with cheese and salami to taste.
