Rice, Lentil, and Spinach Puree

This rice, lentil, and spinach puree is a great way for a baby to start eating cereals and legumes frequently. It is rich in iron, vitamins, and essential amino acids.

  • 1/4 cups Great Value® lentils, soaked
  • 1/4 cups Great Value® rice, rinsed
  • 1/2 cups vegetable broth, Chicken
  • 1 cup spinach

  • In a small pot over medium heat, cook the lentils with the rice and broth covered for 15 minutes or until they soften.
  • Add the spinach and cook for 5 more minutes. Cool down.
