This tomato and bell pepper puree is ideal for your baby's skin care (6 to 12 months) and to prevent sunburn, as red foods are rich in lycopene, a carotenoid that provides these benefits.
Cook the tomato for 3 minutes in a pot of boiling water, or until the skin begins to peel off.
Remove the skin and seeds from the tomato. Set aside.
Remove the seeds from the bell pepper, and peel the carrot. Cut the vegetables into cubes and cook in the same cooking water for 5 minutes or until softened.
Blend the vegetables with a little of the cooking liquid. Cool and serve.
