1 stick tofu, natural
4 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 clove garlic
1 leaf bay
1 teaspoon sweet paprika

Cut the tofu into medium-sized pieces or to your preferred size.
Place the tofu pieces in a bowl and drizzle with soy sauce. Let it marinate while you prepare an infusion.
For the infusion: add the olive oil, bay leaf, garlic, and sweet paprika. Cook over low heat.
Let the infusion cool down and add the maple syrup. Stir well.
Add the infusion to the bowl where you placed the tofu with the soy sauce and let it marinate for 2 hours.
In a skillet, brown the tofu on all sides. Once ready, pour the mixture left in the bowl and let it reduce a bit.
