  • 2 cans chickpeas, without its liquid
  • 1/2 cups canned chipotle pepper
  • 2/3 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, cut in half
  • 1/4 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 tablespoons pepper
  • 1/4 cups lime juice

  • In a food processor, add the chickpeas, chipotle, water, olive oil, garlic, and season with salt and pepper. Save 3 chipotles for decoration.
  • Process until smooth and taste; if necessary, add more lemon or salt.
  • Refrigerate for one hour.
