Couscous and Egg Whites in Pita Bread

Delicious Couscous with Egg Whites and vegetables. Accompanied by a delicious mango sauce and pita bread. It's the perfect recipe for the kids' lunch or for a healthy breakfast you can take to work.

  • 60 grams San Juan® egg whites
  • 50 grams couscous
  • 30 grams onion
  • 25 grams carrot
  • 20 grams pumpkin
  • 15 grams onion
  • 20 grams butter
  • 5 grams salt
  • 5 grams pepper
  • 2 pita breads
  • 5 grapefruit, supremas
  • 1 cherry tomato
  • 1 gram wheat, (grass)
  • 10 milliliters salsa, mango
  • 1 leaf chard
  • 5 leaves spinach
  • 1 gram sunflower germ

  • Cook the Couscous as indicated on the package.
  • Julienne the onions and carrots, and cut the zucchini into small cubes.
  • Sauté the onion with a little butter, add the vegetables, and stir-fry until cooked.
  • Add the San Juan® Egg Whites and the Couscous to the vegetables, stirring continuously; if necessary, add a little more butter, and adjust seasoning.
  • Heat the pita bread in a pan.
  • Fill the pita bread with the cooked mixture.
