Place the eggs in a pot and cover completely with cold water. Bring the water to a boil. Cover, remove from heat, and let the eggs sit in the hot water for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove the eggs from the hot water, peel, and slice.
Place the bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until browned. Drain, chop, and set aside.
Divide the lettuce among individual plates.
Arrange the chicken, eggs, tomatoes, blue cheese, bacon, onion, and avocado in rows on top of the lettuce.
Drizzle with the dressing.
