Preparation
Place the eggs in a pot and cover completely with cold water. Bring the water to a boil. Cover, remove from heat and let the eggs rest in the hot water for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove the eggs from the hot water, peel and cut into slices.
Place the bacon in a large, sturdy skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until brown. Drain, cut and reserve.
Divide the lettuce into individual plates.
Place the chicken, eggs, tomatoes, blue cheese, bacon, onion and avocado in rows on top of the lettuce.
Bathe with the dressing.
