  • 6 slices sandwich bread, toasted

  • 1/4 cups red wine vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

  • Wash and dry the lettuce and squash well, as do the watercress. The minced bacon is softened or roasted in the microwave for 10 minutes, then placed on absorbent paper to remove excess fat. Slice the mushrooms and chop the cheese into squares.
  • Toast the bread and cut into small squares. In a salad bowl place all the ingredients, except the toasted bread that is added at the time of serving so that they do not soften.
