Green Salad with Fresh Mushrooms

This green salad with fresh mushrooms is delicious and very easy to prepare. It's a great option to accompany any dish or to enjoy on its own.

  • 150 grams romaine lettuce
  • 150 grams lettuce, American
  • 1 cup watercress
  • 200 grams button mushroom, sliced
  • 200 grams yellow cheese , cut into small pieces
  • 6 slices sliced bread , toasted
  • 200 grams bacon
  • 1/2 cups olive oil
  • 1/4 cups red wine vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • ground black pepper

  • Wash and dry the lettuces well and chop them, as well as the watercress. The chopped bacon is sautéed or toasted in the microwave for 10 minutes, then placed on absorbent paper to remove excess fat. Slice the mushrooms and chop the cheese into small cubes.
  • Toast the bread and cut it into small cubes. In a salad bowl, place all the ingredients, except for the toasted bread which is added at the time of serving to prevent it from becoming soggy.
  • Prepare the vinaigrette by mixing all the ingredients.
  • Dress the salad with the vinaigrette and add the bread cubes.
