Soak the corn cobs in cold water for 20 minutes; this can be optional, but if you want them to be softer, I do recommend it.
Remove the excess moisture from each one, fold the leaves down, and shake them off.
With the help of a brush or simply your finger, spread room temperature butter all over the corn. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Again, wrap the ear of corn with the leaves and tie them with a strip of husk.
Place the corn on the grill, griddle, or barbecue; if you don't have one, you can do it in the oven at high temperature, around 200° C.
Let cook for 20 minutes or until the husk leaves are burnt and the kernels are tender.
