  • Soak the corn cobs in cold water for 20 minutes; this can be optional, but if you want them to be softer, I do recommend it.
  • Remove the excess moisture from each one, fold the leaves down, and shake them off.
  • With the help of a brush or simply your finger, spread room temperature butter all over the corn. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Again, wrap the ear of corn with the leaves and tie them with a strip of husk.
  • Place the corn on the grill, griddle, or barbecue; if you don't have one, you can do it in the oven at high temperature, around 200° C.
  • Let cook for 20 minutes or until the husk leaves are burnt and the kernels are tender.
