Healthy Chia Jam

Due to its high content of omega 3 and antioxidants, chia has become one of the favorite foods of many, this red fruit jam with a touch of chia, will complement your mornings for a healthier breakfast.

  • 1/2 cups blueberries
  • 1/2 cups raspberries
  • 1/2 cups cranberries
  • 1/2 cups chia seeds
  • 1 1/2 cups raw sugar
  • 1/2 cups water
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 1 star anise pod
  • 3 leaves peppermint
  • toast

  • In a saucepan over medium heat add the blueberry, raspberries and blueberries, mash ingredients and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add the water, muscovado sugar, chia, cinnamon and star anise.
  • Cook until it has the consistency of marmalade. Let cool and enjoy with a whole wheat toast.
