Due to its high content of omega 3 and antioxidants, chia has become one of the favorite foods of many, this red fruit jam with a touch of chia, will complement your mornings for a healthier breakfast.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 1/2 cups blueberry
  • 1/2 cups raspberry
  • 1/2 cups cranberry
  • 1/2 cups chia seed
  • 1 1/2 cups raw sugar
  • 1/2 cups Water
  • 1 raja cinnamon
  • 1 star anise
  • 3 leaves peppermint
  • enough toasted bread

Preparation

In a saucepan over medium heat add the blueberry, raspberries and blueberries, mash ingredients and cook for 2 minutes.
Add the water, muscovado sugar, chia, cinnamon and star anise.
Cook until it has the consistency of marmalade. Let cool and enjoy with a whole wheat toast.

PRESENTATION

In a glass jar decorated with a ribbon.

TIPS

You can substitute fresh cherries for raspberries.
