Homemade Almond Milk

This recipe for homemade almond milk is ideal if you can't go to the supermarket to buy it or if you prefer to prepare it yourself. With this recipe you will fall in love with the sweet taste of the date and the touch of vanilla essence that it will bring to the preparation.

  • 1 cup almonds
  • 3 cups water, to soak the almond
  • 3 dates
  • 1/2 tablespoons vanilla essence
  • 1/4 tablespoons salt
  • 4 1/2 cups water

  • In a bowl, soak the almonds in water overnight. Strain the almonds and reserve.
  • In the blender add the almond with the dates, the vanilla essence, the salt and the water. Blend perfectly well to extract all the flavor of the almond.
  • In a bowl spread a sky blanket and serve what you liquefied, close the sky blanket and squeeze or filter the liquid perfectly well until it is a completely dry paste.
  • Store the almond milk in a glass container in the refrigerator. Enjoy.
