This recipe is to prepare your own homemade yogurt, is based on a previous yoghurt but so you can make it as sweet as you like.

  • 1/2 liters water
  • 2 cups milk powder
  • 1 liter cow's milk
  • 1 liter plain yogurt
  • sugar, to your liking

  • Let's start boiling the 1/2 liter of water in a pot, when the water boils you add the 2 cups of milk powder and let it sit, let it cool.
  • While we wait. In a separate bowl heat the liter of milk for 5 to 6 minutes without stopping boiling, but it is very hot as about 80 or 90 degrees approx. Then let it get warm like the previous one.
  • When both milks are lukewarm we join them and we add all the content of the natural yogurt, being careful that there are no lumps in the preparation and there we incorporate the sugar (the sugar is to your liking of hanging how sweet you want it).
  • It is packaged in a glass or plastic container, covered and wrapped in a clean cloth. Then it is stored in the microwave or in the oven (not turned on) it is left there for 9 hours then it is checked to see if it takes a firm, firm consistency.
  • When this is passed to the refrigerator and we can enjoy it cold with chopped fruits or syrup of your choice.
  • Note: do not use metal containers. And if you do not claim to leave it a couple of hours more until it is affirmed.
