Horchata Ice Pops

This September 15th, prepare some fresh and delicious horchata popsicles with a touch of cinnamon that will be a hit with all your guests. Plus, they are low in calories, so you won't feel guilty trying them.

  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 cups water, hot
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 2 tablespoons artificial sweetener, (sucralose)
  • 1/2 cups whipping cream

  • Soak the rice for five minutes in hot water.
  • Blend the rice with the cinnamon, evaporated milk, sugar substitute, and whipping cream.
  • Strain the mixture and pour it into a popsicle mold. Insert the sticks and freeze for 2 hours or until solid.
  • Unmold and serve.
