Lentil Patties

This recipe is for those who do not eat meat for various reasons and want to enjoy its benefits, as the protein content in lentils is very high. My family really likes them. Give them a try.

  • 1 cup lentils
  • 1 gram salt, or seasoning
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 onions, medium chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
  • 1 garlic, large chopped

  • Cook the lentils until they are slightly soft, about 15-20 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  • In a bowl, place the lentils, onion, garlic, cilantro, parsley, and the 3 eggs.
  • Incorporate until the ingredients are well combined.
  • In a preheated skillet over low heat, with a bit of oil, pour the mixture to form the patties and fry until they have a uniform golden color on both sides.
  • You can serve them with salad.
