2 mandarin oranges
1 grapefruit
1 cinnamon stick
2 star anise pods
1/2 cups orange juice
7 grams unflavored gelatin powder, rehydrated
4 tablespoons non-caloric sweetener

Cut the oranges, mandarins, and grapefruit into wedges, removing the seeds.
Place the fruit with cinnamon, star anise, orange juice, and cook until the liquid evaporates, about 20 minutes.
Add the gelatin and the sweetener, let it cook for another 10 minutes, or until it reduces to a thick consistency. Cool completely.
Serve with toasted bread of your choice.
