Nopales with Cheese

This recipe can be used to accompany a roast meat or as a main dish.

  • 4 nopales
  • 4 slices panela cheese, thick
  • lime juice, (2 piece)
  • Maggi seasoning
  • English sauces
  • salt, and pepper to taste

  • Clean and disinfect nopales
  • Place them in a container and marinate with the lemon, the two sauces and the salt and pepper.
  • Place them in a skillet over low heat with all the juice left over from the marinade.
  • Cook for 5 minutes on one side and 5 minutes on the other or until they turn opaque green and lightly brown.
  • Place the slices of cheese and leave them for 5 more minutes to melt a little. No longer flip.
  • To serve.
