Oats

This delicious and nutritious recipe is very easy to prepare and you can eat it as a dessert, breakfast, or dinner. Oats are a very beneficial food for health as they have properties such as a high amount of fiber and help reduce bad cholesterol in the blood.   • 1 cup oats
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 cups walnuts
  • 1/2 cups cranberries, or raisins
  • cinnamon powder
  • water

  • Wash the oats before cooking, once washed, add them to a saucepan with enough water to cover them and bring to a boil.
  • When boiling, add the brown sugar and sprinkle with ground cinnamon. Let it boil for another 7 minutes or until it thickens.
  • Remove from heat, wait for it to cool before adding the 1/2 cup of walnuts, the 1/2 cup of blueberries or raisins.
  • Serve in small cups.
