Peanut Butter with Chia and Flaxseed

Very healthy peanut butter that is rich and creamy, made from toasted peanuts with a super original combination of chia and flaxseed. This delicious recipe is ideal for spreading wherever you like; combine it with berries or banana, use your imagination, and you will love it.

  • 2 cups peanuts
  • 1/2 cups chia seeds, hydrated
  • 1/4 cups flaxseed
  • 1/8 cups agave syrup, or sweetener of your choice
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3 tablespoons coconut oil

  • Preheat the oven to 180° C
  • Add the peanuts to a baking tray and toast in the oven for 15 minutes or until they take on color without burning. Remove from the oven and set aside.
  • Add the hot peanuts to the food processor and process for 5 minutes or until a thick paste forms. Remove from the processor and transfer the mixture to a bowl.
  • Add the chia and flaxseed to the peanut paste, along with the agave honey, ground cinnamon, salt, and coconut oil. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly. Refrigerate.
