Rice Festival

This is a nutritious recipe. Shrimp add flavor to rice, pasta, vegetable, and legume dishes, while enriching them with the nutrients they contain.

  • 350 grams rice, boiled
  • 200 grams green beans
  • 50 grams corn kernels, cooked
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove garlic, mashed
  • 350 grams shrimp, washed and peeled
  • 10 sticks surimi
  • 2 eggs
  • 30 grams butter
  • cinnamon powder
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • salt, as needed

  • The eggs are beaten and cooked in a skillet with a splash of olive oil, forming a very thin omelet. It is cut into strips and set aside.
  • In a separate skillet, the onion, carrot, and green beans cut into small pieces are sautéed. Then, the rice, shrimp, and garlic are added, cooking the mixture for a couple more minutes.
  • After that time, the mixture is covered with hot water and allowed to cook until the water is reduced. Two minutes before turning off the heat, the chopped surimi sticks, egg strips, corn kernels, butter, and salt are added. The mixture is stirred, combining all the ingredients.
  • The mixture is removed from the heat and sprinkled with cinnamon. The skillet is covered, and the mixture is allowed to rest for ten minutes before serving.
