Soy Adobada Tacos

This soy adobada taco recipe is healthy, inexpensive, and easy to prepare; the soy takes on a ground meat flavor. Prepare it and feed your family healthily.

  • 500 grams soy
  • 100 grams bacon, chopped
  • 4 tomatoes, grilled
  • 3 árbol chiles, grilled
  • 1 onion, medium finely chopped
  • vegetable oil, to taste
  • salt, to taste
  • 20 corn tortillas
  • fresh cilantro, finely chopped

  • Soak the soy in enough water for 15 minutes, remove from the water, and squeeze to eliminate excess water, then set aside.
  • Fry the bacon in a medium skillet (the leftover oil will be used to add the soy) and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, fry the onion and then add the soy for 5 minutes, stirring. Blend the tomatoes, chilies, a little water, and salt to taste, and pour into the skillet.
  • Cover and let it cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally over medium heat, and it's ready. Serve the soy in the corn tortilla with a little cilantro.
