Stewed Nopalitos

  • 1 cube Knorr® tomato bouillon
  • 550 grams nopal, chopped, cooked, and well drained
  • 1/2 onions, sliced
  • 1 tomato
  • 4 dried árbol chiles
  • 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 clove garlic

  • Boil the tomatoes until softened and soak the chiles until they soften.
  • Blend the tomatoes, chiles, and 1/2 cup of water with Knorr® Tomato, Garlic, and Oregano Seasoning.
  • In a medium skillet, roast the nopales and add the onion, sweating until the nopales are completely dry.
  • Add the blended tomato sauce and boil until it thickens.
