These stuffed pita breads are a great option for preparing a quick, healthy, and balanced dinner. They are made in the blink of an eye, and offer a different and exotic dinner.
We start by seasoning the chicken fillets with salt and pepper to cook them on a very hot griddle or non-stick pan, with a few drops of olive oil. Once they are well browned, we turn off the heat and set them aside.
Make a cut on one of the edges of the bread and insert into it a couple of slices of tomato, a couple of leaves of lettuce (well washed), and a chicken breast fillet.
Moisten the bread by spraying it with a few drops of water and place it in the oven, preheated to 200º C, for about 10 minutes.
To add a touch of flavor and juiciness, serve this bread with mustard sauce, which we will make by mixing mayonnaise with old-fashioned mustard to taste.
Serve freshly made.
