Toasted Bread and Gouda Cheese, Tomato Sauce with Egg and Asparagus

The recipe for toasted bread with gouda cheese, tomato puree, and fried egg is simply delicious. It features bread with melted cheese, mushroom tomato sauce, topped with a fried egg and some delicious asparagus.

  • 4 Bimbo® toasted bread
  • 4 slices Gouda cheese
  • 80 milliliters tomato purée
  • 4 button mushrooms
  • 4 eggs
  • 8 asparagus
  • 100 milliliters vegetable oil
  • 5 grams pepper
  • 15 grams salt flower

  • Place a slice of gouda cheese on a piece of bread. Arrange the breads on a tray and put them in the oven at 200° C for 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
  • Using a vegetable peeler, remove the skin from the asparagus. Cut the ends of the asparagus, as that is the toughest part.
  • Pour water into a pot and add enough salt. Add the asparagus and cook them.
  • Add oil to a skillet, fry the eggs.
  • Place a tablespoon of tomato puree. On top of this, place the egg and asparagus.
