Tostadas with Nopal Salad

  • 3 nopales
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 1/4 onions
  • 5 grams fresh cilantro, a small bunch
  • 3 serrano chiles
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 cups white vinegar
  • 1/4 cups olive oil
  • 2 grams salt
  • 100 grams queso fresco, for decoration
  • 6 tostadas
  • 100 grams refried black beans

  • Chop all the vegetables finely, remember to remove the seeds from the tomato and the serrano chili, set aside.
  • Cook the nopales with water and a teaspoon of baking soda for 5 minutes.
  • In a bowl, add the chopped vegetables and the nopales.
  • Add the white vinegar and olive oil, season with salt.
  • Mix the preparation well.
  • Spread refried beans on the tostadas, place the nopales on top, and decorate with fresh cheese.
