Veggie Wrap

This veggie wrap is the best lunch to take to school or work; in addition to being nutritious, it is extremely delicious with its exquisite jalapeño, capers, and chia hummus, which gives it an incredible and well-balanced flavor.

  • 1 cucumber, cut into strips
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 1 cup button mushrooms, cut into slices
  • 3 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1 package Libanius® pita bread
  • 1 Libanius® jalapeño, capers and chia hummus
  • 4 leaves lettuce
  • 1/2 red onions, cut into slices
  • salt and pepper

  • In a bowl, mix the cucumber, bell pepper, mushrooms, red onion, add sesame oil and sesame seeds, season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
  • On the Libanius® Taquero Pita Bread, spread the Libanius® Jalapeño, Capers, and Chia Hummus, place a lettuce leaf and add the vegetables, roll it up.
  • On a medium heat grill, heat the wrap for 2 minutes on one side and 2 minutes on the other side.
