Buffalo Shrimp Gratin

This version of gratin is very simple to prepare, delicious, and all the ingredients are easy to find; it is ideal to accompany with Galletas Saladitas Gamesa®.

  • 1/4 cups butter, for the shrimp
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped, for the shrimp
  • 1 1/2 cups shrimp, cleaned, for the shrimp
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary, fresh and chopped, for the shrimp
  • 1 teaspoon paprika, for the shrimp
  • 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder, for the shrimp
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice, for the shrimp
  • 1/2 cups white wine, for the shrimp
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch, for the shrimp
  • 1 1/2 cups buffalo sauce, for the shrimp
  • 2 cups Manchego cheese, grated, for gratin
  • goat cheese, small pieces
  • green onion, the stalk, finely chopped
  • Saladitas® saltine crackers

  • In a medium skillet, preferably thick (it can be cast iron), over medium heat, melt the butter and add the garlic and shrimp with the rosemary, sauté for 2 minutes; add the paprika and garlic powder, season with salt and pepper, and pour in the lemon juice, cook for 3 more minutes.
  • In the same skillet, add the white wine, the cornstarch (diluted with the same liquid from the shrimp), the buffalo sauce, the manchego cheese, and cover, cook on low heat for 10 minutes or until the cheese melts.
  • Serve in the same skillet, garnish with small pieces of goat cheese and chopped scallion; accompany with Galletas Saladitas® Gamesa®
