Cheese-Stuffed Meatballs

Try this recipe for cheese-stuffed meatballs, accompanied by a delicious chipotle chili sauce. This dish is made with ground beef and filled with a bit of mozzarella cheese. Your whole family will love it!

  • 1/2 kilos ground beef
  • 1/4 cups parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cups breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cups Mozzarella cheese, in medium cubes
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons pepper
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/4 onions

  • 1 cup tomato purée

  • In a bowl, mix the ground beef, parsley, breadcrumbs, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper.
  • Form a small ball and with your finger, make a hole. Add the mozzarella cheese and close the ball perfectly covering the cheese.
  • Blend the onion, garlic, tomato, tomato puree, salt, pepper, and oregano. Set aside.
  • In a pot, add olive oil and fry the meatballs for 5 minutes until golden. Add the sauce and chicken broth. Cook for 15 minutes over medium heat.
  • Serve in a deep plate and garnish with parsley. Pair with rice.
