Chicken in White Wine with Vegetables

  • 1/2 cups bacon, in medium cubes
  • 1 cup onion, in thin strips
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 4 chicken drumsticks
  • 1 cup carrot, in medium cubes
  • 1 cup button mushrooms, in slices
  • 1 1/2 cups white wine
  • 2 bay
  • salt
  • pepper
  • fresh thyme, for garnish

  • Add the bacon to your Jade Cook® pan and let it brown for 4 minutes over medium heat, then add the onion and garlic for 2 minutes or until they change color.
  • Add the chicken and sear on both sides for 5 minutes, then add the carrot and mushrooms. Cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add the white wine and bay leaves. Cover the pan and cook for 15 minutes.
  • Serve in the same Jade Cook® pan or on a large plate and garnish with fresh thyme. Accompany with steamed rice or citrus salad.
