Cabbage Rolls with Chicken

  • 1/2 kilos chicken breast, cooked and shredded
  • 1 cup potato, thinly julienned
  • 1/2 cups white onion, julienned
  • 1 cup carrot, precooked, thinly julienned
  • 1 cup pumpkin, julienned
  • 2 garlic
  • 1/2 cups soy sauce, for the sauce
  • olive oil, for cooking
  • 1 cabbage, large, for the rolls
  • 1 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 cups lime juice, for the sauce
  • 1/4 cups orange juice, for the sauce

  • Blanch the cabbage leaves in a pot with water and salt until they are soft enough to make the rolls, but be careful not to break them. Set aside.
  • Add onion, garlic, carrot, zucchini, and potato in a skillet with a little olive oil and cook until all ingredients are slightly golden.
  • Once ready, add the shredded and precooked chicken.
  • Take a cabbage leaf and fill it with the vegetable and chicken mixture, seal well, and brown all sides in a skillet to ensure it stays closed.
  • Add soy sauce, lemon juice, orange juice, and chopped cilantro in a bowl.
  • Serve the cabbage rolls stuffed with chicken and drizzle with soy sauce to taste.
