Chicken with Swiss Chard

A delicious recipe for chicken strips with Swiss chard that should not be missing from your recipes. Designed for the weekly menu.

  • 2 chicken breasts, small
  • 2 tomatillos, small
  • 1 bunch chard
  • 1/4 onions
  • 1 Jalapeño chile
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream, light
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • garlic, to taste
  • 3/4 cups water

  • Cut the chicken breasts into strips.
  • Season with salt, garlic, and pepper.
  • Place in a skillet with a little oil, browning on both sides. Do not leave for too long, remove from heat.
  • Chop the onion, tomato, and chili into small cubes and cut the Swiss chard into small strips.
  • Sauté the vegetables with a little oil, seasoning with salt and garlic.
  • Once the vegetables are semi-cooked, add the chicken and 3/4 cup of water. Cover and let cook.
  • When the chicken is cooked, add the 2 tablespoons of cream, mix well, and turn off.
