1/4 cups lime juice
3 chicken drumsticks
3 chicken thighs
3/4 cups white onion, in thin slices

Mash the garlic cloves, oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper. Then mix with the orange juice and lemon juice.
Place the chicken in a bowl, marinate with the garlic and juice mixture and half of the onions. Let it rest in the refrigerator for 3 hours.
Remove the chicken from the marinade, pat it slightly dry. Reserve the marinade.
Heat the oil in a pot over medium heat, fry the chicken pieces for 3 minutes on each side or until lightly browned, remove from heat and set aside.
In the same pot, pour a little more oil and fry the onion until it begins to soften. Then, add the marinade and the dry white wine and let it boil.
Add the chicken to the pot with the boiling marinade, cover, and cook over low heat for 25 minutes or until the creole chicken is well cooked.
Serve the creole chicken on a plate and accompany it with white rice.
