Fish in Soy Sauce with Ginger

Stop looking for simple fish recipes, because once you prepare this one with soy sauce and ginger, you won’t want to try another. The flavor of your fish fillet will be greatly enhanced with this sauce, which also includes a touch of sugar and serrano chili. This main dish is rich in protein and pairs perfectly with roasted vegetables.

  • 1 serrano chile, finely chopped, for the sauce
  • 2 tablespoons spearmint, for the sauce
  • 1 cup orange juice, for the sauce
  • 1/2 cups soy sauce, for the sauce

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cups green onion
  • 1/2 cups celery
  • 2 tablespoons raw sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest

  • In a bowl, mix the ginger, garlic, serrano chili, mint, orange juice, soy sauce, and pepper. Set aside.
  • In a pan, add olive oil, green onion, celery, and the sauce you reserved earlier, then add the sugar, lemon zest, and cook until it reduces.
  • In a pan with oil, sear the fish and season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve the fish with the glaze, garnish with grilled oranges, green onion, and roasted cherry tomatoes.
