Green Pozole with McCormick® Chicken Broth

We present to you a very traditional recipe from the state of Guerrero. A delicious green pozole that is so easy to make you won't believe it; just add the ingredients and a bit of McCormick® Chicken Broth. This preparation is ideal for rainy days or when you feel like eating this delicious Mexican dish. Enjoy it with your family!

  • 2 cubes Mccormick® chicken bouillon
  • 500 grams hominy corn
  • 500 grams pork
  • 2 garlic
  • 2 leaves dried bay
  • 1 tablespoon black peppercorn
  • 8 tomatillos
  • 2 serrano chiles
  • 2 sprigs fresh epazote
  • 5 sprigs fresh cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons oregano
  • 2 teaspoons McCormick® ground cumin
  • 3 limes, for the garnish
  • 2 avocados, for the garnish
  • 1/4 lettuce, sliced for the garnish
  • 1 1/4 cups onion, chopped for the garnish
  • 1 cup radish, for the garnish
  • 1 can sardine, for the garnish

  • Cook the corn with the pork meat, garlic, bay leaf, and pepper in a pot with enough water. Add the two tablespoons of McCormick® Chicken Broth.
  • Blend the green tomatoes with the serrano chili, epazote, cilantro, oregano, and McCormick® Ground Cumin.
  • Add the mixture to the cooking corn. Cook the preparation for 30 minutes.
  • Serve accompanied by the garnish.
