BBQ Pizza

Delicious pizza made with BBQ meat accompanied by cold cuts and caramelized bell peppers with BBQ sauce.

  • 250 grams flour
  • 1 egg
  • 60 milliliters vegetable oil
  • 150 milliliters water
  • 15 grams yeast
  • 500 grams ground meat
  • 40 grams salami
  • 40 grams turkey deli ham
  • 10 grams bell pepper
  • 10 grams red bell pepper
  • 10 grams yellow bell pepper
  • 60 milliliters tomato purée
  • Hunt´S ® original bbq sauce

  • For the dough: Mix the flour, yeast, and salt. Add the oil, egg, and a little water; start kneading and pour in the water gradually until you obtain a homogeneous dough. Once the dough is fully integrated, let it ferment for 15 to 20 minutes at room temperature. With the help of a rolling pin, roll out the dough until it takes a circular shape, place it on a pizza stone or a baking tray. Preheat the oven to 250º C.
  • Place the meat in a pot over high heat and cook for 5 minutes. Season with Hunt's® Original BBQ Sauce, tomato puree, salt, and pepper. Once the meat is cooked, remove from heat, drain the juice released by the meat, and let it cool.
  • Cut the bell peppers into thin strips, place them in a pan with Hunt's® Original BBQ Sauce over medium heat for 5 minutes until caramelized, remove from heat, and let cool.
  • On the pizza base, place the cooked and seasoned ground meat; then add a layer of salami, followed by turkey ham, and finally the cooked bell peppers.
  • Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Once ready, cut the pizza into 8 slices.
