  • 1 liter water
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 3 cups broccoli, cut into medium florets
  • 1/2 kilos beef tenderloin, cut into tips
  • 1/4 cups cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon pepper
  • 3 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cups red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon raw sugar
  • 1 teaspoon chile flakes

  • Heat a small pot over high heat with water, salt, and baking soda, immerse the broccoli florets and cook for 5 minutes - Remove and place the broccoli in ice water, drain.
  • In a bowl, mix the beef tips with the cornstarch, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat with sesame oil, cook the ginger, onion, and garlic until they become glossy, add the meat and cook until it changes color, then add the soy sauce, sugar, and chili flakes.
  • Incorporate the broccoli and cook for 5 more minutes, adjust seasoning, and serve.
