We bring you this delicious beef stir-fry recipe from Ecuador, as thanks to the influence of Cantonese cuisine and Ecuadorian Creole cuisine, we can enjoy this traditional and very easy-to-prepare dish.
Add the meat, cumin, salt, pepper, and soy sauce in a bowl, then mix all the ingredients very well and let marinate for 15 minutes.
Cut the tomato and red onion into thin strips, while the green onion tops into thin slices.
Heat a pan or wok over high heat, when it is very hot, almost smoking, add the oil, the meat, and cook for 3 minutes or until well cooked. Try not to move the meat too much and only use gentle movements. Remove the meat from the pan and set aside in a bowl.
Cook the onion, chili, and tomato in the same pan or wok over medium heat for 4 minutes, then add the green onion tops, vinegar, meat, and beef broth, stir gently to combine everything well, pour in the sesame oil, and cook for 4 minutes. The meat should be juicy and tender.
Serve the beef stir-fry on a plate and accompany with rice and fried potatoes.
