Chiles in Walnut Sauce

This delicious dish of chiles in walnut sauce is something you will love; it is a very good option to prepare and accompany with tasty white rice.

  • 12 Poblano chiles, cleaned and deveined
  • 1/2 kilos ground meat
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 100 grams bacon, in cubes
  • 1/2 liters evaporated milk
  • 1/2 kilos double cream cheese
  • 500 grams walnuts
  • salt
  • paprika
  • nutmeg
  • 1/2 liters sour cream
  • 5 potatoes

  • Place the chiles on a griddle, roast them, and place them in a bag to sweat so the skin can be easily removed. Devein them so they won't be spicy.
  • In a saucepan, add the onion, bacon, and sauté.
  • Add the ground meat.
  • Add the spices paprika, nutmeg, salt.
  • Let it cook perfectly well.
  • In the blender, place the evaporated milk, double cream cheese, walnut, salt, and blend perfectly well.
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Stuff the chiles with the meat and cover them with the cheese sauce that is already prepared, cut the potatoes, place them to the side, and put them in the oven for 15 minutes.
