Meat Pie with Cheese

You can't miss this meat pie with cheese, as the combination of flavors is simply irresistible. To prepare this dish, you will need incredible ingredients such as Proan® pork loin, San Juan® egg, Parmesan cheese, Manchego cheese, and American cheese, it's finger-licking good!

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 cup tomato, in small cubes
  • 500 grams Proan® pork fillet, finely chopped
  • 500 grams Proan® pork chop, finely chopped

  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 3 San Juan® eggs
  • 1/2 cups Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cups Manchego cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cups American cheese, grated
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1/4 cups milk
  • salt
  • pepper
  • flour, to roll out the dough
  • 500 grams puff pastry
  • parsley, finely chopped, for garnish

  • Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat and cook the onion, garlic, and tomato for 2 minutes. Then, add the chopped Proan® pork loin and Proan® picanha, season with salt, pepper, and cumin; cook for 10 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  • Add the San Juan® egg, Parmesan cheese, Manchego cheese, American cheese, heavy cream, milk, salt, and pepper to a bowl; mix until combined. Incorporate the filling of chopped Proan® pork loin and Proan® picanha, then mix until integrated. Set aside.
  • Sprinkle flour on a flat surface and roll out the puff pastry with a rolling pin. Grease and flour a pie mold. Remove excess dough, add the meat and cheese filling, and bake the pie at 180 °C for 50 minutes.
  • Serve the meat pie with cheese on a board and garnish with parsley.
