Ranch Steaks

  • 1 kilo beefsteak, cut into medium cubes
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup onion, cut into strips
  • 2 cups tomato, cut into strips
  • 1/2 cups Jalapeño chile, cut into strips
  • 5 tomatoes, for the sauce
  • 1/4 cups onion, for the sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, for the sauce
  • 1 cup beer, for the sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 cups potato, peeled, cut into medium cubes, and cooked

  • pepper
  • pinto beans, refried, for serving
  • avocado, cut into slices, for garnish
  • tortillas, for serving

  • Mix the milk, salt, pepper, garlic, and onion in a bowl until fully integrated, then submerge the meat and let it marinate for 30 minutes.
  • Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium heat and cook the onion for 4 minutes, then add the tomato and chiles and cook for 5 more minutes.
  • For the sauce: cook the tomatoes in a pot with water over medium heat for 5 minutes or until cooked. Then, blend the tomato with the onion, garlic, and beer at medium speed.
  • Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the meat until done (about 6 minutes), then add the sauce, the preparation from step 2, the potatoes, salt, and pepper; stir well to integrate all the ingredients. Cook the steaks for 10 minutes, or until they boil.
  • Serve the ranch steaks on a large plate and accompany with refried beans, avocado, and tortillas.
