Sweet and sour pork recipe

  • 1 cup pork, in medium cubes
  • salt

  • 1/4 cups soy sauce
  • 1 egg

  • vegetable oil, for frying the meat

  • 1 teaspoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups sweet and sour sauce
  • 1/4 cups soy sauce for glaze
  • sesame seeds

  • Add the pork in a bowl and season with salt and pepper. Add the soy sauce and the egg and mix very well.
  • Dust the meat with flour and fry in a pan with oil for 5 minutes or until crispy. Place on paper towels to remove excess fat. Set aside.
  • Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the garlic and ginger, pour in the sweet and sour sauce, and once it is boiling, add the meat. Mix very well so that the meat is coated with the sauce.
  • Serve the sweet and sour pork and garnish with sesame seeds.
