There is no better Mexican snack than a delicious tlacoyo filled with black beans; learn to prepare them at home. They are ideal for breakfast or dinner, and you can accompany them with your preferred salsa.

1 kilo masa dough
1 cup lard
Oléico® safflower oil, necessary amount
1/2 kilos black beans, cooked
salt, to taste
1/2 packages panela cheese, crumbled
1 cup green salsa

Season the beans in a skillet with oil. Mash them until they become a puree.
Mix the dough with the lard.
Take a bit of dough and form a ball. Flatten it with your hands to form a tortilla.
Fill the tortilla with 2 tablespoons of beans and close it like a quesadilla. Then shape it into the oval form of a tlacoyo.
In a hot skillet with oil, fry the tlacoyos on both sides, turning them 2 or 3 times. Drain them on paper towels.
To serve, add crumbled fresh cheese and green or red salsa.
