Try this recipe for cheese with spinach in tomato sauce, which is very easy to make and full of flavor thanks to Del Fuerte Origen® Ground Tomatoes, which will give it the ideal homemade touch that your whole family will love.
1 Ground Tomatoes of Strong Origin®, presentation of 400 g, glass jar, 100% natural flavor
500 grams panela cheese, in 2 cm slices
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 cups onion, in thin strips
2 cups spinach, in thin strips
salt

parsley, for garnish
white rice, with vegetables, to accompany

Roast the onion, garlic, and serrano chili on a griddle for 10 minutes or until they have a golden layer. Remove and set aside.
Blend Del Fuerte Origen® Ground Tomatoes with the roasted onion, garlic, and roasted serrano chili for 5 minutes or until you obtain a homogeneous sauce. Set aside.
Heat the oil in a cast-iron skillet and cook the onion with the spinach over medium heat for 5 minutes or until golden. Add the cheese and sauté for 5 minutes until a golden layer forms on the cheese. Add the blended sauce, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2 more minutes.
Serve the cheese with spinach in tomato sauce in the same skillet, garnish with parsley leaves, and accompany with rice and tortillas.
