Creamy Chilacas with Chicken

Enjoy a good taco with these delicious creamy chilacas with chicken, which also have corn kernels and a touch of sour cream.

  • 12 chilaca chiles, roasted and cut into strips

Preparation

  • Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté the onion until soft and translucent. Add the chilacas and sauté for 10 minutes, add the chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 10 minutes. Finally, incorporate the cream and corn, adjust the seasoning, and cook for 5 more minutes.
  • Accompany the creamy chilacas with chicken with Cotija cheese, corn tortillas, and Mexican rice.
