Easy and quick pozole

Do you want pozole but don’t want to spend hours in the kitchen? We have the perfect recipe for you! This white pozole is very easy and quick, as it will be ready in less than an hour thanks to the Royal Prestige® Precision Cook induction grill.

  • 2 cups hominy corn, precooked
  • 5 cups water
  • 1/4 cups onion
  • 1/2 garlic heads
  • salt
  • 1/2 chicken breasts, skinless
  • lettuce, in thin strips
  • radish, sliced
  • onion, finely chopped

  • lime, to serve
  • tostadas, to serve
  • sour cream, to serve

  • Place a Royal Prestige® 4-Quart Pot on the Royal Prestige® Precision Cook. Add the pozole corn, water, onion, head of garlic, salt, and chicken breast. Cover, lock, and turn the pressure regulator valve with the arrow pointing to the pressure icon, and cook over medium-high heat. Once the pressure regulator whistles and releases steam, lower the heat to medium-low and continue cooking the pozole on the slow cooking option for 45 minutes.
  • Turn off the heat, turn the pressure regulator valve indicator to the pressure release icon, and when the red indicator has fully retracted, it is safe to open the lid. Uncover the Royal Prestige® Pressure Cooker, remove the chicken, and shred it.
  • Serve the white pozole in a deep dish, add some chicken, and accompany it with lettuce, radish, onion, and lime. Also, don’t forget the tostadas with cream!
