Easy Cream Strips Recipe

These cream strips are the perfect Mexican dish for a family meal, as they can be accompanied with rice, beans, and tortillas. Additionally, you can add shredded chicken to make it more filling.To top it off, don’t forget to pair it with a glass of Del Valle Frut® Citrus.

  • 8 Poblano chiles
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 onions, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 cups yellow corn
  • 3/4 cups sour cream
  • salt
  • pepper

  • Roast the peppers on a skillet. Place them in a bag and let them rest for 15 minutes. Peel, clean, and cut into strips. Set aside.
  • Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté the onion and garlic, add the strips and yellow corn, and cook for a few minutes.
  • Add the cream, salt, and pepper, and cook for 5 more minutes.
