  • 1/4 onions, roasted 1/4 onions, roasted
  • 1 clove garlic, roasted
  • 3 guajillo chiles, clean and roasted
  • 1/4 cups chicken broth 1/4 cups chicken broth

  • 2 cups pressed pork rinds
  • 3 cups refried beans
  • 2 tablespoons lard
  • 12 corn tortillas
  • red salsa, mashed
  • Sidral Mundet® Apple flavor

  • Blend the onion, garlic clove, guajillo chili, chicken broth, salt, and pepper until you obtain a thick salsa.
  • Cook the pork cracklings in a pan for 2 minutes, pour in the salsa, and cook for 3 more minutes. Add the beans and cook for 10 minutes or until it starts to dry slightly. Remove from heat and let cool.
  • Spread a tortilla with beans and top with another tortilla. Repeat this process until all the tortillas are used.
  • Heat the lard in a pan and cook the empalmes for 3 minutes on each side.
  • Serve and accompany with salsa and Sidral Mundet® Apple flavor.
