Ham Alambre with Cheese and Bacon

In Mexico, alambres are very popular for being easy and delicious. This time we made a version with FUD® Diced Ham that is ready to use since it is already cut. We combined it with FUD® Chopped Bacon; which is very economical because it comes in a package of 2 bags, onion, peppers, mushrooms, chili, and of course FUD® Oaxaca Cheese. Delicious!

  • 1 cup Fud® chopped bacon
  • 1/2 cups chorizo ​​in a pot Fud®
  • 1 cup onion, cut into medium cubes 1 cup onion, cut into medium cubes
  • 2 cups bell pepper, of various colors, cut into medium cubes
  • 1 cup button mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup Poblano chile, cut into medium cubes
  • 2 cups Fud® diced ham

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat, cook the FUD® Chopped Bacon and FUD® Chorizo in a Can until they release their fat, add the onion, peppers, mushrooms, poblano chili, and cook until softened.
  • Incorporate the FUD® Diced Ham and cook for a few minutes. Season with salt and pepper, add the FUD® Oaxaca Cheese to melt, remove from heat and keep warm.
  • Serve your alambre and accompany it with flour tortillas, guacamole, salsa, and lime. Enjoy.
